Foreshore homes, jetties and the Pacific Highway
The foreshore around Warners Bay has waterfront houses, boat sheds, jetties and parkland, while the Pacific Highway and shopping streets sit a little way back. Waterfront homes often have timber decks and steps that lead down to the water, and sloping blocks with retaining walls.
Working near the water brings its own problems. Boards and jetties can be slippery, equipment has to be kept clear of the shore and wash water has to be controlled so it does not reach the lake. Access to some blocks is down a long driveway or steps, so we ask about it before we book.
